Our Purpose at Refton Brethren In Christ Church is to connect with Jesus - The way, The truth and The life.

We believe that the life of every Christian Church needs to be centered around Jesus.  Anything and everything we do should flow out of our connection with the Son of God, the Savior of the world, the one we proclaim as King of kings and Lord of lords.  He indeed is The way, The truth and The life!

We strive in ever increasing ways to help those who have never connected with Jesus as Savior to know their sins can be forgiven and that they can become followers of Christ.  At the same time, we help each other in our journeys of faith to continually connect with Jesus in a deeper way, as well as connecting with each other in meaningful relationships - relationships that enable us to encourage each other as we live out our faith.

Our Vision is that we are a Church that is helping one another to connect with Jesus by being Bold in Prayer, Quick to Care, and Eager to Share. We believe this vision statement represents three areas that make Refton BIC unique.

1) We are Bold in Prayer
Prayer is an essential and foundational aspect of our faith in Jesus.  Because of this, our ministries make prayer a priority.  

2) We are Quick to Care
We want everyone to feel welcome.  It is important to us that every individual feels that Church is a safe place where they can be honest with themselves and other people.  God calls us to serve others, and that is one of our top priorities. The total number of people that walk through our doors on a Sunday morning is not of first importance to us.  What is important is that each individual feels the warmth of Gods love through people who actually care about other people.  

3) We are Eager to Share
Were in this together!  We share with everyone in need our time, talents, resources, and most importantly the life changing message of Jesus Christ.
